As a Product Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, developing and implementing comprehensive product line strategies to drive the long-term financial health of the product line. You will manage and drive the product life cycle, from ideation to commercialization. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. Your work will directly impact the overall competitiveness and profitability of the product line.

What You’ll Do

1. Develop and execute the European Driveline electrification strategy for passenger car, commercial vehicle and off-highway. Management of assigned product line(s), including: Ensure volume forecasts are consistent with market trends. Develop pricing strategies that optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Monitor product margins. Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize product portfolio, profitability, and market share. Assist Commercial organization on contract management with valuable competitive product, pricing and margin analysis. Provide inputs for the annual profit plan targets setting (volume, revenue, margin) and lead its execution.
2. Develop product positioning, value proposition and messaging to differentiate the product line from competitors. Become the subject matter expert.
3. Liaise with OEMs and customers to develop partnerships, determine product approach and pricing strategy.
4. Work closely with technology to develop, launch, and commercialise new products and provide ongoing product support.
5. Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to product launch and beyond, ensuring on-time delivery and profitability.
6. Collaborate with Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain to manage asset and operational decisions in support of the product line.
7. Collaborate with Strategic Marketing Manager to develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to guide product development and positioning.
8. Support implementation of marketing plans to generate awareness and demand for the products.
9. Collaborate with sales teams to provide training and resources to effectively sell the product line.
10. Drive product success and profitability, ensuring the product line meets the needs of target customers.
11. Develop market advocacy strategy, determine key market messages and co-ordinate with other regions as necessary.

What We’re Looking For

A strong product manager should be a well-rounded individual with a combination of technical, market, and business skills, as well as strong communication and leadership abilities.


12. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. Candidates with an MBA are desirable.
13. A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in combination of Sales, Marketing, technology deployment, or Product Management roles. Experience within the specialty chemicals industry, industrial lubricant market experience is considered a plus
14. Business Acumen: Good understanding of the financial aspects of the product line, including pricing, margins, and profitability. Ability to make sound business decisions based on financial analysis.
15. Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead, motivate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, sales, and marketing.
16. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and senior leadership.
17. Market Understanding: Strong understanding of the relevant markets, including customer needs, competitor analysis, and market trends.
18. Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of the technical aspects of the products they are managing, including chemical composition, applications, and manufacturing processes.
19. Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and interpret market and financial data and use it to make informed decisions, including tracking and analyzing product performance metrics and market trends.
20. Strong organizational skills: ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects. Capable of independent action, takes initiative.
