The successful candidate will assist the Experienced Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of childcare, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment for children. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with management experience and a passion for early childhood education to contribute positively to our team and community.*Duties** Assist the Nursery Manager in the organisation and supervision of daily nursery activities* Support staff in delivering high-quality childcare in accordance with regulatory standards and policies* Lead and motivate team members to ensure a cohesive and professional working environment* Oversee the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programmes* Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and external agencies* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times* Support recruitment, training, and development of nursery staff* Contribute to maintaining a welcoming, organised, and stimulating nursery environment* Assist with administrative tasks including record keeping, rota management, and reporting*Qualifications** Proven experience working within a nursery or early childhood education setting* Strong management and leadership skills with previous supervisory responsibilities* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written* Knowledge of childcare regulations and safeguarding procedures* Childcare qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare* Experience working with children across different age groups* Valid driving licence is desirable* Passionate about early childhood development and creating a positive learning environmentThis role is ideal for a motivated individual committed to delivering outstanding childcare services.
