The Role Chemistry Teacher
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:
Deliver a rigorous and sequenced chemistry curriculum across KS3 and KS4
Secure strong subject knowledge in organic, inorganic and physical chemistry
Use assessment to identify misconceptions and address gaps
Adapt teaching to support pupils with SEND and those new to English
Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic focus
Contribute to curriculum development within the science department
The Ideal Chemistry Teacher Will Have:
QTS and a strong academic background in chemistry
Experience teaching chemistry at KS3 and KS4
High expectations for achievement and conduct
Confidence using assessment to inform planning, familiarity with exam boards such as AQA and Edexcel
