Level 2 Early Years Practitioner

We’re working with a friendly, welcoming nursery in BD10 that’s looking for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join their team full time. It’s a setting where children are curious, staff are supportive, and no two days look the same, in the best possible way.
What your days will look like
You’ll be right at the heart of the nursery, supporting children through play, exploration, and plenty of learning-through-laughter moments. From setting up engaging activities to helping with routines and building those all-important bonds, you’ll play a big part in helping children feel safe, confident, and ready to grow.
You’ll be:
1. Supporting children aged 0–5 in line with the EYFS framework
2. Creating a warm, stimulating environment where every child feels included
3. Working closely with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development
4. Helping with observations, learning journals, and daily routines
What we’re looking for
5. A Level 2 Early Years qualification (essential)
6. A caring, patient approach and a genuine love for working with young children
7. A good understanding of EYFS and child development
8. Someone reliable, enthusiastic, and happy to muck in as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
