We are seeking an organised, motivated, and compassionate Administrative Support worker to join our specialist Continence Service. This essential role helps ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service, supporting clinicians and patients by providing high‑quality administrative support.
You will play a key role in delivering a positive experience for those accessing bladder and bowel services. You will manage the smooth running of the ordering of products, referrals, maintain accurate records, and provide general administrative support to the clinical team.

Main duties of the job
1. Manage incoming product assessments and order forms ensuring accurate data entry
2. Book and coordinate patient appointments, clinics, and follow‑up visits
3. Act as the first point of contact for patients, carers, and professionals
4. Provide clear, sensitive communication about continence service processes
5. Maintain and update patient records, databases, and correspondence
6. Support clinicians with administrative tasks, document preparation, and clinic organisation
7. Handle telephone enquiries, emails, and service inboxes professionally
8. Order stock, manage deliveries, and maintain equipment registers
9. Support the team with audit data, reports, and service improvement projects
10. Uphold confidentiality, data protection, and professional standards at all times

Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
21. Efficient use of Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and intranet
22. Able to manage own workload and work autonomously as part of a team.
23. Demonstrate a commitment to continuing personal and professional development
Desirable criteria
24. Previous admin experience in NHS environment
25. Use of Trust IT packages ie Harris Flex, T-Pro, Evolve
26. Knowledge of medical terminology
27. Experienced and competent minute taking
Qualifications & Education
Essential criteria
28. Good general education. Minimum GCSE English and Mathematics grade A-C or equivalent.
