Health and Social Care Lecturer - Coventry, West Midlands
Do you have a passion for health and social care and a desire to inspire the next generation of professionals? A forward-thinking college in Coventry is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Lecturer to join their team this September 2025.
Location: Coventry, West MidlandsSalary: £27,665 - £40,644 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)Hours: 37 hours per week, term-time
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and informative lessons across Level 1 to Level 3 Health & Social Care courses
* Support learners' development with tailored teaching approaches
* Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work in line with curriculum standards
* Assess and monitor student progress through assignments and practical assessments
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment
Requirements:
* Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
* Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field
* Experience teaching within Further Education or similar educational settings
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and current industry practices
* Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills
Essential:
* Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) - must be on the Update Service or obtained prior to start
