Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 3 to work in the Trauma and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy service. We are looking for a new team member with excellent communication and motivational skills to join our busy T&O department. The role focuses on providing front‑line physiotherapy support in a ward based setting and working under the indirect supervision of physiotherapists. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, hardworking and passionate about patient care, able to work independently and as part of a team. This position offers development opportunities within a supportive team of Chartered physiotherapists.
Responsibilities
Key duties include:
 * Delivering physiotherapy support under indirect supervision.
 * Working independently and collaborating effectively within the multidisciplinary team.
 * Assisting in assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients in the T&O ward.
 * Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
 * Contributing to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
 * Essential:
 o Appreciation of the principles of physiotherapy practice and procedures.
 o Experience in working as part of a team in a busy, varied workplace.
 o Good standard of education – NVQ level 3 or equivalent; GCSE Maths and English.
 o IT literate.
 * Desirable:
 o Understanding of the principles of manual handling.
 o Welsh language speaking/listening skills at Level 3 or above.

Band 3, £25,313 – £26,999 per annum pro rata, permanent contract, part‑time working pattern, located at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Ynysmaerdy, Pontyclun, CF72 8XR. Reference 110‑ACS280‑1025.
