Responsibilities
1. Review engineer reports, inspections and test results.
2. Analyse faults and identify remedial solutions.
3. Provide technical advice to clients and internal teams.
4. Prepare quotations and scopes of work.
5. Specify replacement components and remedial works.
6. Support procurement activities and supplier engagement.
7. Provide technical guidance to field engineers.
8. Assist with technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Essential
9. Minimum 5 years' Solar PV industry experience.
10. Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial PV systems.
11. Experience fault-finding and troubleshooting.
12. Knowledge of inverters, monitoring systems, DC systems and electrical testing.
13. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
14. Strong communication and organisational skills.
15. Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
16. Solar PV O&M experience.
17. City & Guilds Inspection & Testing.
18. ECS Gold Card.
19. Experience producing technical reports and quotations.
20. PV design software experience.
21. Knowledge of HV-connected solar installations.
