Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for this Permanent Full-time post in the Department of Clinical & Counselling Psychology to provide a specialist clinical psychology service to our adult population (aged 18-65) living in the Moray area.
• A HCPC recognised post‑graduate (Doctorate) qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
• HCPC Registration as a registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
• Suitable experience in Adult Mental Health services, preferably within the NHS
• Experience with severe and enduring clinical presentations and in‑patient settings is essential
The post holder will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary Community Mental Health Team, alongside a senior psychologist, delivering both face‑to‑face and online appointments. The role includes dedicated time for in‑patient services and receives support and supervision from an in‑patient psychologist in Aberdeen.
Interview expenses are available to all candidates. A relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is offered to the successful candidate.
Moray lies in the north‑east of Scotland, with a coastline on the Moray Firth and borders the areas of Aberdeenshire and Highland. Elgin, the Royal Burgh, is a centre of administration, education and tourism, offering a wide range of recreational activities and a high quality of life with good transport links.
