Job Title: SEN Tutor
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team in Croydon, Greater London. This is a temporary position with part-time hours, offering a competitive hourly rate of £20 - £25.
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Develop individualised learning plans based on students' specific needs and abilities.
* Deliver engaging lessons and educational activities to enhance students' learning outcomes.
* Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Required Qualifications:
* Proven experience working with individuals with SEN.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Education:
* Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs.
Experience:
* Prior experience in tutoring or teaching individuals with SEN.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises.
* Ability to create inclusive and supportive learning environments.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a patient approach.
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
* Work primarily in an educational setting, collaborating with students and other professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
