This excellent 50 place Nursery is owned by a supportive family that has been providing high-quality childcare and education for many years. The nurturing environment and the carefully selected team of practitioners ensures each child is cared for in a safe, secure environment with planned activities. They have dedicated rooms on offer for the various age ranges, each reflecting the areas of learning.
As Room Leader you will join the leadership team and support with the day to day management of the site and your specific room. Within this you will help to lead a team of dedicated staff, ensuring the highest standard and quality of care. You will be familiar with all educational standards and requirements, and able to step in to support the Nursery Assistants.
This is a full time, permanent Room Leader position working days between Monday to Friday on a flexible hours rota (4 ½ days per week) and paying £30,000 per annum. Experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioners and Room Leaders with at least NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education, CACHE or similar are encouraged to apply.
Room Leader profile:
* Level 3 Childcare / CACHE / Early Years Qualification
* Strong leadership skills with previous leadership experience within a Nursery setting preferred (E.g. Room Leader, Third in charge, Deputy Nursery Manager)
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of EYFS
Room Leader duties will include:
* Supporting other Nursery Practitioners and work as a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children within the setting
* Keep a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
* Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and medical needs
* Liaising with Parents and Carers to ensure a high level of involvement and satisfaction
