As a Mentor Programmer at Digital Learning Ongoing, you will play a pivotal role in guiding talent aged 16‑30, providing mentorship and ensuring they develop essential programming skills and thrive in the digital age.
What you will be doing
* Mentor and support young talent in career development methodologies and best practices.
* Design and deliver engaging learning experiences, including workshops on mentoring.
* Provide personalized feedback and constructive criticism to help learners overcome challenges and improve their proficiency.
* Collaborate with the curriculum team to create and update educational materials and resources.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment encouraging collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
* Track and monitor the progress of mentees, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to address gaps.
* Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
What we’re looking for
* No degree required.
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development, programming, or related roles.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds.
* Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, or teaching programming concepts.
* Passion for technology, education, and empowering others to succeed in the digital age.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
* Familiarity with digital learning platforms, online resources, and tools is a plus.
* Experience with project management, curriculum development, or instructional design desirable but not required.
