Senior Associate / Head of Commercial Property Department
Are you an experienced Commercial Property solicitor ready to take the next step in your career? An innovative and growing legal practice is seeking a dynamic professional to lead and develop their Commercial Property team.
About the Role:
* Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions, acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions, and renewals (for landlords and tenants).
* Handling development work, site setup, due diligence, and financing/refinancing projects.
* Conducting thorough due diligence, property searches, and title investigations.
* Advising landlords, tenants, developers, and investors on legal rights and obligations.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and property law.
* Drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts and business advisory work.
* Supporting strategic growth through client development, referrals, and cross-department collaboration.
What We're Looking For:
* 6-8+ years PQE
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with strong industry experience.
* A strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
* Proven experience working with landlords, tenants, developers, and lenders.
* Commercially minded with a clear understanding of business drivers.
* Leadership potential, confidence, and a proactive, dependable approach.
* Passion for mentoring and developing a strong team.
* Ambition to grow into a senior leadership role and shape the future of the department.
