Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the {Branch Name} hospital pharmacy.
Responsibilities
* Participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.
* Dispense medication on outpatient prescriptions, manage stock ordering and invoicing and financing deliveries.
* Perform other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.
Qualifications
* NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course
* Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification
* Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate
* Experience in a customer-focused environment
* Strong understanding of confidentiality
* Ability to handle medications accurately
Essential
* Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills
* Understanding of confidentiality
* Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
* Ability to work as part of a team
Hours and Working Pattern
Total Hours Contracted: 43.5hrs
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9-6 with 1 in 4 Saturdays 4hrs
