The School and Role
We are looking for a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant on behalf of a large, community-focused primary school in the South Shields area of South Tyneside. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver both general and one-to-one support, working as part of an established team in the Nursery section of the school. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am 3.30pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising both quality and comprehensive care to deliver an excellent early years development programme. The school is ideally seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, however would be open to other qualifications if their gained experience is relevant.
Requirements
The desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will have;
* Experience of working with primary school aged children
* Experience of working with pupils with SEND
* Experience delivering small group interventions and support
* A passion for ensuring the progress of early years pupils
* An ability to work as part of a team
* Ideally Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, however other relevant experience is desirable
