Year 6 Class Teacher (0.4 FTE) Job Share with Assistant Head Teacher We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join our team on a 0.4 FTE basis. This role will be a job share with our Assistant Head Teacher, supporting pupils through this important final stage of primary school. We are seeking someone with strong subject knowledge, high expectations and the ability to inspire children to achieve their best. Experience in Year 6 or upper KS2 would be an advantage, though not essential. Most importantly, you will be passionate about helping every child succeed, both academically and personally. While these posts are listed separately, there is flexibility for them to be combined. For example, the Year 5 and Year 6 roles could be merged into a larger post, or the two job-share roles with our Assistant Head Teachers could be brought together. These opportunities have arisen due to exciting changes within our school. Two of our internal colleagues have been successfully promoted to the role of Assistant Head Teacher, creating two job-share positions. In addition, there have been changes in working hours within Year 5, providing further opportunities for collaboration and new appointments.
