An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Co-Ordinator within our Yewcroft Community Mental Health Team based at The Barberry Centre.
This post has been advertised as 37.5 hours, but 30 hours per week could also be considered.
If you are enthusiastic, motivated, and ready for a challenge, then you are the person we are looking for. You will need to work on your own initiative, providing support and establishing processes to support a busy and demanding service.
The post holder will manage the reception team in our out-patients area, oversee the Team Administrator, and provide support to the Team Manager and Admin Lead.
Applicants should have excellent communication & organisational skills, with word processing / ICT ability. Knowledge of RIO would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
The post involves administrative / secretarial duties, maintaining and inputting data, and providing secretarial support to the Team Manager and team.
The service supports individuals with mental health issues. Therefore, the post holder should have a caring, professional, and empathic approach and demonstrate high interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities include undertaking a wide range of admin duties such as managing post, telephone, photocopying, etc., and supporting the team administratively.
You will liaise with multi-disciplinary professionals including Consultants, Care Coordinators, Social Workers, OTs, Carers, Family members, and other external agencies.
The role requires dealing with sensitive situations within the team, and awareness of Health, Safety, and Security policies.
