Offer description

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to take full ownership of our courier recruitment process. This role is all about finding great people—whether experienced couriers or new starters—who are eager to work in parcel delivery. The right person will be creative in reaching out across multiple channels, communicating clearly with candidates, and ensuring everything is ready for them to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Attraction & Recruitment

* Source candidates through multiple channels: job boards (e.g. Indeed), social media, word of mouth, community groups, and any other effective avenues.
* Promote vacancies through engaging posts and adverts to attract potential drivers.
* Build a pipeline of suitable candidates to meet company growth needs.

Communication & Scheduling

* Reach out to candidates promptly and build positive relationships.
* Book candidates into training sessions and confirm attendance.
* Provide clear instructions about next steps, requirements, and expectations.

Onboarding & Compliance

* Ensure all candidates complete training videos before training day.
* Collect and check IDs, logins, and documentation ahead of onboarding.
* Record all necessary candidate details accurately and securely.
* Support new hires through the full onboarding process.

Administration & Reporting

* Maintain and update recruitment trackers using Excel and internal systems.
* Log candidate activity, progress, and status reports for management.
* Use computer systems efficiently for scheduling, record keeping, and communication.

Skills & Attributes

* Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Confident using social media and other platforms to attract candidates.
* Computer literate: comfortable with Excel, Word, email, and online systems.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to deliver results.

Experience Required

* Recruitment, resourcing, or administration experience (preferred but not essential).
* Familiarity with courier/logistics industry is a plus but not required.
* Demonstrated ability to attract candidates through varied sourcing methods.
