Pensions - Benefit & Data Correction Lead

Do you have the skills needed to lead complex data and calculation remediation projects? Do you have technical pension knowledge, and the ability to manage stakeholders?

We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a team which brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our UK offices.

Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.

As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What the day will look like

* Carry out and/or review bespoke data modelling work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
* Ask the right questions to gain an understanding of complex processes, then use this to plan/design solutions.
* Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including consultant, administrators, and specialists, to understand requirements, articulate our work and help make decisions.
* Help devise strategies for carrying out the required data work within the contractual timescales.
* Developing others in the team.
* Leading or inputting into process improvement activities.

How this opportunity is different

As a benefit & data correction lead, you will get the opportunity to interact with a wide range of colleagues and teams within the UK Retirement business.

Your delivery will directly contribute to the ‘Aon Story’. Having a strong network of colleagues for support is pivotal for your individual development, and your network of colleagues will naturally increase rapidly from day one.

Individual development within role will be fast paced, with new and interesting challenges presenting themselves through changes in pensions legislation and industry initiatives.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

* Have experience in leading data manipulation, calculation rectification, and transformation projects.
* Proficiency in Excel, with ability to create, amend, and review models.
* An understanding of UK pension schemes with knowledge of how individual member calculations are performed, and experience of delivering bulk pension data and/or calculation projects.
* Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate.
* Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with various teams and stakeholders.
* Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects.

How we support our colleagues

In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. Plus, our agile environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon. Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two “Global Wellbeing Days” each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself. We offer a variety of working style solutions, but we also recognise that flexibility goes beyond just the place of work... and we are all for it. We call this Smart Working!

Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips you to learn, share and grow, helping you achieve your fullest potential. As a result, at Aon, you are more connected, more relevant, and more valued.

We provide individuals with disabilities reasonable accommodations to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment in accordance with applicable law.
