We are looking for dedicated and dynamic staff to join our experienced teams to support in the safe delivery of care and engage with the trust transformation and strategic vision. With our focus on quality, safety, transformation and service development, we are increasing our operating theatre suite and are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic people, to join the Anaesthetic Team in our expanding theatre department delivering a 24 hour service. You will join our extensive theatre team with multiple skills to enable you to gain further knowledge and advance your career.
This role is specifically for a Trained Anaesthetic Practitioner with UK Anaesthetic qualification and experience.
This Role will involve cross site working with Poole Hospital (Base site) and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital
This role requires a current UK Registration and UK Anaesthetic qualification.
Base Location: Poole Hospital but cross site working will be required.
Full flexibility shift working 24/7/365.

Main duties of the job
Our services cover multiple specialities, Orthopaedics and Trauma, Head and Neck, Obstetrics, General, Gynae, Day surgery, Urology, Vascular, Paediatrics, Anaesthetics, Emergency and Recovery.
We encourage dual or multi skilled practitioners, butyou must be trained in anaesthetics practice and possess a current UK Registration and UK Anaesthetic qualification.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NMC registered Nurse (Advanced Diploma/Degree in Adult Health Nursing) or HCPC registered ODP (Dip (HE) Operating Department Practice)
* UK Recognised Anaesthetic Qualification Essential
* Learning and Assessing in Practice (or equivalent teaching/mentoring qualification)
Knowledge
* Working knowledge of basic operating department routine and surgical specialties undertaken
* Understanding of the surgical patient pathway through the hospital
* Anaesthetic knowledge and skills
* Immediate Life Support/ Paediatric Immediate Life Support Qualification
Personal Attributes
* Highly motivated
* Recognises stress in self and others and manages appropriately
* Fully Flexible
Experience
* Experience of working within UK guidance, regulations and procedures.
* Experience of caring for patients with acute and long term conditions
* Experience Of Working With Paediatric Anaesthetics
