Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Workers. As a Community Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalised care and support to individuals in need, including the elderly, disabled, or those with special needs. Your duties may include assisting with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Additionally, you will offer emotional support and companionship to ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
* Help clients with mobility and transportation, if required.
* Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
* Administer medications and provide medication reminders as needed.
* Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and tidying up living spaces.
* Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
* Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during visits.
Requirements
* MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE AND TRANSPORTATION
* COS available T&C apply
* Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required. We provide training for qualified candidates.
* Compassion, empathy, and patience are essential qualities for this role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
* Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, if applicable.
* Must pass a background check and drug screening.
