FLT Driver / Machine Operative
Location: Fishponds, Bristol
Hours: Rotating shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm), Monday-Friday
Pay: £13.35 per hour
Contract: Full‑time, temp to perm

About the Role
A well‑established adhesive solutions manufacturing company in Fishponds is seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Driver / Machine Operative to join their production team. This role combines forklift operation with hands‑on machine and production duties, offering variety, stability, and long‑term progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move raw materials and finished goods
Checking all materials and machine settings are correct for each production job
Feeding materials into machinery and monitoring production processes
Ensuring high‑quality standards on WIP rolls and finished rolls
Running rewinder machines during staff breaks, holidays, or sickness cover
Cleaning machinery and setting up materials for upcoming production runs
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Following all site Health & Safety procedures at all times
Supporting general warehouse, production, and ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment
Ability to work rotating shifts
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
