Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Special Needs Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our Secondary School team. The post requires providing differentiated support across the curriculum to meet pupils\' special educational needs. The main purpose of the role is to lead and support pupils with SEND in their education, using sound knowledge and experience of working with Secondary School pupils to help in their learning.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support pupils with SEND in their education across the secondary curriculum.
* Provide differentiated support to meet pupils\' individual learning needs.
* Utilise excellent IT and assistive technology skills to aid learning.
* Demonstrate initiative, sensitivity and commitment to the role and the staff team.
Qualifications and Skills
* Knowledge and experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs.
* Excellent IT and assistive technology skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with discretion and care.
