Blue Arrow is seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to provide weekend day and night coverage at a prestigious site within Whitley Business Park. This role requires a high standard of professionalism, strong customer-service skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all building occupants and visitors.
Role Overview:
The Security Officer will act as the primary point of contact on site during weekend operations, undertaking both reception and security duties. You will be responsible for upholding security procedures, conducting routine patrols, and ensuring a consistent front-of-house standard befitting a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver professional reception and front-of-house services, including visitor check-in, issuing passes, and providing general assistance.
Conduct regular perimeter and internal building patrols to maintain site safety and security.
Monitor CCTV and security systems in accordance with site protocols.
Manage access control, ensuring authorised entry only and maintaining accurate records.
Respond to incidents, escalate appropriately, and prepare clear, concise incident reports.
Represent the client and Blue Arrow with a smart, professional appearance at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Ability to commit to weekend day and night shifts.
Smart, corporate appearance with excellent personal presentation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable, professional, and confident working independently.
Desirable:
Previous experience within corporate or business-park security environments.
Experience in reception, customer-facing, or front-of-house roles.
