Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy goods Trailers. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
4 on 4 off shifts, overtime available. Different shifts available for this role.
Must be confident and enthusiastic.
Responsibilities
* Conduct on site Trailer inspections and necessary repairs.
* Attend roadside breakdowns
* Carry out tail lift LOLER inspections
* Diagnose and rectify moving deck faults
* Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while working.
Requirements
* 5 years proven experience as a HGV Trailer Technician is essential.
* Experience with Dhollandia tail lifts desired.
* Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance & repair.
* Experience in a similar mobile role.
* A valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
* The ability to meet ETA's consistently is essential.
