Customer Service Advisor (Transport & Logistics)
Location: Runcorn
Salary: £28,000 (depending on experience)
Full-time | Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (flexible)
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Adaptable recruitment are pleased to be supporting a well-established transport and logistics business in recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy operations team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth coordination between customers and the planning team.
What you will be doing:
* Creating and updating transport jobs accurately within internal systems
* Managing failed load reports and supporting rebooking of deliveries
* Monitoring and organising the team inbox, ensuring queries are directed efficiently
* Communicating with customers via phone and email, providing timely updates
* Coordinating late deliveries and keeping customers informed
* Checking daily job completion and ensuring all records are accurate
* Supporting planners with building efficient and cost-effective loads
* Updating customer portals with live job information
* Investigating and resolving customer or operational queries
* Maintaining daily reports, including demurrage tracking
