The post holder is working under the direct/ indirect supervision of a midwife in providing a high quality service that meets the needs of women and their babies. They will contribute to ensuring a safe and clean working environment. The successful candidate will develop a sound knowledge base to support delivery of maternity care and successfully achieve Care Certificate usually within 12 weeks of their commencement in post. An understanding of the Trust values and the philosophy of our maternity department is important, as is the promotion of a positive image of the organisation, department and the service. You need to be able to work well in a team with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. You should have a proven track record of working without a direct supervision. A good level of Maths and English is required for this role. This role requires the post holder to work days, nights and weekends. Part-time or full-time hours are considered.
