You will be working Monday to Friday (no weekends) 8am-5pm with an hourly rate of £12.30 - £12.60. Full, clean UK Driving License is essential. As Warehouse Operative you will be working in a team of other Warehouse and Yard Operatives with a variety of duties which will include heavy lifting of furniture as well as driving the van twice per week. Duties as below: Unloading of 40ft shipping containers (Full of furniture) decanting into the warehouse Picking furniture from the warehouse ready to load on 3.5 tonne vans Load the vans, securing the furniture in place Picking furniture for Amazon PRIME, DPD and their 3rd Party delivery partner Labelling the furniture and loading onto their delivery partners' vans General warehousing duties, def ragging and creating space Unloading of returning vehicles from delivery runs Sorting Returns Light repairs to returned stock Readying items for sale on eBay Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or Yard Operative Full Clean Driving License essential Experience in driving a 3.5 tonne van preferable Good knowledge of warehouse activities including pick...
