CAMHS Trainee Children\'s Wellbeing Practitioner
We are offering 4 training posts across three Community CAMHS services. These are full-time fixed-term posts (1 year) to undertake a postgraduate diploma level training hosted by the University of Reading while based within a CAMHS clinical team.
Start date: February 2026 (academic training at University of Reading). Interviews will be held jointly with UoR. Successful candidates will need to complete an application for the Graduate\/Postgraduate Diploma in Brief Evidence-Based Psychological Interventions for CYP with Common Mental Health Problems. A supplementary learning agreement will clarify responsibilities during employment.

As a Trainee Children & Young People\'s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP), you will be trained to assess and deliver low-intensity interventions for common mental health problems in children and young people (e.g., low mood, anxiety, behavioural difficulties). You will develop skills through role-play, skills practice teaching, and clinical work in service.
