Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring excellent dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the menu and quality standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while meeting portion and presentation standards.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
* Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist in ordering supplies.
* Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes, specials, and seasonal menus.
* Minimize waste through proper food storage, rotation, and portion control.
* Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines consistently.
* Support and train junior kitchen staff when required.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
* Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience (preferred but not required).
* Food handling certification (if required by local regulations).
