Role Overview
HRGo Recruitment Ashford is working with Bank Farm to find an experienced Sous Chef for a permanent role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate culinary professional looking to take the next step in their career within a well‑established and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Preparing and cooking high‑quality dishes to a consistent standard
* Supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff
* Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are upheld at all times
* Managing stock, ordering, and minimising waste
* Stepping up in the Head Chef's absence
Package & Benefits
* £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Permanent, stable employment
* 45 hours per week across 5 days

The Right Person Will Have
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie looking to step up
* A passion for producing quality food consistently
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle
* A calm, organised approach under pressure
