are currently recruiting for a dedicated and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Leyland from May Half Term 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, qualified Teaching Assistants, or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience across different schools, year groups, and teaching responsibilities before securing a permanent role.
The role is varied, rewarding, and ideal for someone who enjoys both classroom support and leading learning independently.
The Role
* Morning: Supporting teaching and learning as a Teaching Assistant within the classroom
* Afternoon: Delivering lessons and covering classes across the school
* Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to raise pupil achievement
* Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting pupils across a range of year groups and abilities
