A well-established law firm with a respected Private Client team is seeking an experienced Tax and Trusts Manager. This role offers the opportunity to work with a varied and high-quality client base, providing expert advice and support across a wide range of tax and trust matters. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage tax compliance for individuals, trusts, and estates
* Prepare tax returns and trust accounts
* Advise on income tax, CGT, and inheritance tax matters
* Handle trust terminations and related documentation
* Maintain records on HMRC’s Trust Registration Service
* Oversee ATED, FATCA, CRS, and Swiss tax filings
* Support clients with Making Tax Digital
* Liaise with trustees, beneficiaries, and professionals
* Maintain client relationships and manage billing
* Stay current with tax legislation and best practices
Candidate Profile:
* 10+ years’ experience in tax compliance
* Strong knowledge of trust law and tax regulations
* Able to manage a busy caseload independently
* Organised, empathetic, and client-focused
* Collaborative with excellent communication skills
* Analytical, professional, and commercially aware
* Flexible to meet occasional non-routine demands
