Willcox Matthews are exclusively retained by a well-established, healthcare technology manufacturer as they look to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of a Head of Commercial Growth.
The business delivers clinical technology solutions into hospitals, supporting frontline staff with tools that improve efficiency, workflow and patient care - including mobile workstations, mounting systems and point-of-care IT solutions.
This is a key, high-priority hire and a critical appointment for the next phase of the company’s growth. This role sits between a hands‑on sales leader and a strategic commercial driver - ideal for someone stepping up from Sales Manager/Senior Sales Manager level or already operating at National level.

Key Responsibilities
* Drive revenue growth across NHS and private healthcare accounts
* Lead from the front in key accounts and strategic opportunities
* Improve pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy and deal conversion
Team Development
* Coach, mentor and develop a team of sales professionals
* Support the progression of high-potential individuals
* Build a high-performance, accountable sales culture
Commercial Execution
* Implement structured sales processes and cadence
* Improve pricing discipline and margin performance
* Ensure consistency in approach across regions
* Build strong relationships with clinicians, procurement and stakeholders
* Support product positioning and market development
* Identify new business opportunities and growth areas

Candidate Profile
* Proven track record in healthcare, MedTech, or healthcare IT sales
* Experience managing or mentoring sales teams
* Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement and stakeholder engagement
* Ability to sell solutions (not just products) into complex environments
* Comfortable engaging with clinicians, procurement and operational stakeholders
* Likely background: Regional Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager or National Sales Manager
