We are working with an established engineering business, and they are looking for a Recruitment & HR Coordinator to join the business ASAP
This is an office-based role – Monday to Friday
Reporting into the HR Director and working as part of a team of 3 people, the focus of the role will be to provide support across all recruitment and HR administration activities. The role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process while also supporting core HR processes including onboarding, employee documentation, HR systems administration and general HR support. Key duties will include;
* Reporting into the HR Director and working as part of a team of 3 people, supporting across Recruitment (70% of role) and HR (30%)
* Supporting with recruitment activities for up to c20 roles at anyone time.
* Coordinate the full recruitment process from vacancy approval through to job offer.
* Advertise vacancies across job boards, recruitment platforms and company channels.
* Screen applications and support hiring managers with candidate shortlisting.
* Arrange and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
* Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
* Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular updates on vacancy progress.
* Prepare and issue employment offers, contracts and associated documentation.
* Conduct pre-employment checks including right to work verification and references.
* Coordinate new starter onboarding including documentation, inductions and system access.
* Maintain accurate employee records within the HR system and personnel files.
* Prepare HR documentation including probation letters, contract changes and other employee correspondence.
* Support offboarding processes including resignation acknowledgements, exit documentation and asset returns.
* Assist with HR reporting including recruitment metrics, headcount and employee data.
* Liaise with recruitment agencies and external partners where required.
* Provide general HR administrative support to managers and the wider HR team.
For this role candidates will need to have exposure within a busy HR team and have exposure to recruitment and HR administration.
This is a busy and fast paced role and would suit candidates who have a good grounding in recruitment and HR and want to work as part of a small team, where you can take on more responsibility.
