Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in a care home setting. Duties
* Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support residents in daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
* Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
* Help develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.
* Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
* Provide assistance with mobility, including using mobility aids as necessary.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Skills
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
* Experience in senior care or within a care home environment is highly desirable.
* Supervising experience is an asset for those looking to take on leadership roles within the team.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
* Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation as required.
