Job Summary
In this role, you will work with one or more of Infrastructure’s core business lines and report to the business line’s Commercial Manager and Business Development lead. You will help support strategic business development efforts including client engagement and relationships, and support the senior team in shaping, negotiating and closing deals. You will also provide commercial assistance, as needed, to projects in execution and participate in commercial training.
"This position is designated as part‑time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in‑person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in‑person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership."
Major Responsibilities
* Work with the relevant business line’s Commercial, Business Development and Legal teams to support the analysis, development and structuring of commercial deals, ensuring the overall risk/reward balance is optimal.
* Support the internal process of obtaining management approval for commercial deals as part of the overall prospect approval process.
* Assist the business line’s Commercial and BD team with commercial issues such as securing opportunities, preparing for negotiations, and ensuring project leadership fully understands the commercial basis of the deal.
* Work with the Prime Contracts team and project legal support to provide commercial assistance throughout project execution.
* Provide strategic and tactical assistance to the BD teams in developing prospect win plans, value propositions, and understanding of different commercial models.
* Support commercial training efforts, including preparing materials and presenting during training courses.
* Develop white papers and lessons‑learned papers on various contract models for use by business development and project execution teams.
Education and Experience Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8‑10 years of relevant experience, or 12‑14 years of relevant work experience.
* 5‑7 years of experience in deal making, commercial structuring, or other strategic development roles.
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualifications in engineering, business, economics, finance, legal, quantity surveying or a similar discipline.

* Experience interfacing directly with external parties such as government officials and consultants.
* Experience performing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organization, networking and time‑management skills.
* Negotiation skills, including experience successfully closing deals and supporting execution teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to travel as necessary.
* Demonstrated track record in performing the full range of business functions in a fast‑paced environment with high ambiguity.
