I’m pleased to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of my client for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking business based in Plymouth. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations, both in the UK and overseas, offering real variety and responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-level executive support to the Chief Executive, including diary and inbox management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and bookings, and document preparation
2. Manage general administrative tasks including reporting, financial tracking, data handling, and expense management
3. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient business operations
4. Oversee the management of a portfolio of UK rental properties, including tenant communication and contractor coordination
5. Manage direct bookings, finances, and staff communication for a luxury property in the West Indies
6. Travel internationally (up to twice a year) to Barbados to oversee property operations
Working Hours:
This role can be offered full-time, or on a flexible part-time basis working:
Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 2:30pm, and Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

8. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using technology
11. Able to work independently and prioritise effectively
12. Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to changing demands
13. A good sense of humour and a collaborative mindset
14. Previous experience in a senior administrative or EA role is essential
15. A full, clean driving licence is required
16. Previous EA/PA experience is highly advantageous
17. Must be flexible with location as the office may relocate in the new year
