The role
involves both the management of a team of 4, as well as direct involvement in day-to-day financial reconciliation and management reporting tasks. Accuracy, attention to detail, problem solving skills as well as a solid understanding of accountancy principles are essential requirements.
After a 3-6-month period the successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously and be able to drive the completion of error-free financial reports to all the stakeholders with only minimal involvement of the Financial Controller. Bookkeeping, VAT control, accountancy and payroll management will then be handed over from the incumbent and processes will be assessed and integrated into the finance team.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree-level education Accountancy chartership with QPE 2+ years Experience and interest in leading, coaching and developing other qualified and non-qualified finance team members Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Experience in financial services/insurance/regulated industry desirable but not essential.
