£31,000 - £35,000 (£15 - £17) + Mon to Thu (8:00am-4:30pm) + Early Finish Friday (3:30pm) + In House Training + Electrical Training Provided + Progression to Supervisor + Long Term Permanent Role + Regular Overtime
Are you a Mechanical Fitter or Pipe Fitter looking for a hands on role where you can build complete systems from drawings and develop your electrical knowledge while progressing long term?
This is an opportunity to join a well established engineering business that designs and builds specialist mechanical systems in house for the high precision and Aerospace industries. The company is known for promoting from within, investing in training, and developing engineers.
You will be working in a workshop environment rebuilding and assembling mechanical systems, carrying out pump and pipework builds, and supporting the electrical side of system assembly. A basic level of electrical knowledge is required, with further electrical training provided.
This role would suit a Mechanical or Pipe Fitter who can read drawings, enjoys practical build work, and wants a stable role with progression.
The Role:
* Rebuilding and assembling complete mechanical systems from detailed technical and assembly drawings
* Installing pumps and pipework using metal fittings, gate valves, and high pressure hoses
* Supporting the electrical build including wiring three phase motors, building switches, and wiring back to control panels
The Person:
* Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, or similar engineering role
* Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings with basic electrical knowledge
* Ambitious individual looking to develop skills and progress into senior or supervisory roles
