What you will do:
- Design workforce strategies and solutions to support the redesign and remodelling of services and bring about workforce cultural change.
- Provide expert HR guidance on complex HR matters across the Council.
- Act as an ambassador for HR, identifying areas of value through effective customer interactions at all levels.
- Develop and contract commercial HR services to external organisations, seeking service provision improvements.
- Lead significant change programmes as the accountable HR professional, proposing innovative solutions for service delivery.
- Offer high-level advice and support to senior management, ensuring people issues are resolved efficiently while managing risks and maintaining employee relations.
- Uphold governance arrangements and address any identified matters of concern appropriately.
- Drive business growth by directing HR Service goals in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support the Service Manager HR in achieving strategic goals and lead a range of HR projects.
