Tezlom is currently recruiting Male Home Care Workers / Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our dedicated homecare team in the Hayes area. We are particularly interested in candidates who are experienced- (Punjabi/Hindi speakers preferred) Key Responsibilities As a Home Care Worker / Domiciliary Care Assistant, your duties will include: * Providing personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding * Supporting Service Users with daily living activities and personal hygiene * Promoting dignity, privacy, and independence at all times * Assisting individuals with limited mobility using appropriate equipment * Supporting Service Users with physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs * Monitoring and supporting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, palliative or long-term health conditions * Administering or supporting medication in line with care plans and policies * Completing accurate care records, daily notes, and Medication Administration Records (MAR sheets) * Encouraging social activities, hobbies, and community engagement * Preparing meals, snacks, and supporting with eating and drinking where required * Carrying out light household tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment * Cleaning and maintaining equipment such as commodes, hearing aids, and glasses * Escorting Service Users to appointments, outings, or social visits * Ensuring the security of Service Users’ homes at the start and end of each visit * Maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of care and support Requirements * Right to work in the UK * Experience Working in healthcare for at least 3 months * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one) Desirable (Not Essential) * Care Certificate * Previous experience in a care or community setting * Knowledge of Punjabi or Hindi language * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What We Offer * Competitive hourly pay: £12.71 per hour * Full training and ongoing professional support * Opportunity to build a rewarding career in care * Supportive and friendly team environment * Flexible working opportunities in the local community Apply Today If you are compassionate, reliable, and passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you.
