(Y)Our Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, proactive and highly efficient Family & Community Engagement Leader to promote family and community engagement across two schools in Margate.

This role involves working with parents, families and potentially whole communities on a range of educational, attendance and supportive projects. It includes organising events, coordinating adult support workshops and facilitating community outreach. Furthermore, to seek development opportunities for the schools in order to address unmet need – creatively finding additional resources and working in partnership. Responsibilities include fostering strong partnerships and providing clear lines of communication between school, parents, providers and the local community to improve outcomes, a sense of belonging and attendance for all. We particularly welcome applicants with knowledge of working with communities within the area and more than one language.

The ideal Family & Community Engagement Leader will be someone who is:
