£ 19,827.60 per Year / £12.71 per Hour, 30 hours a week (5 days) About the Role We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Coffee Supervisor to lead our Black Sheep Coffee team. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on barista skills with team leadership, ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and our coffee operation runs smoothly. As a Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards, supporting staff development, and helping drive departmental performance — all while promoting the values and culture of Valor Hospitality. Job Purpose To be fully customer-focused, consistently delivering excellent service with an informed, friendly, and effective approach. To be responsible for the day-to-day running of your designated area within company policies, ensuring brand values, standards, and financial targets are achieved. To promote Valor Hospitality Europe Limited’s purpose, values, and behaviours at all times. Key Responsibilities Maintain strong knowledge of the Black Sheep Coffee menu and product offerings. Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure all team members serve in accordance with Black Sheep Coffee and Valor brand standards. Ensure service areas are fully stocked, clean, and presented at all times. Assist with the consistent delivery of superior customer service across the team. Ensure tables are set and cleared to company standards and provide attentive service, noting special requests. Take every opportunity to upsell Black Sheep Coffee products. Be fully aware of departmental budget and financial targets. Assist with monitoring and controlling departmental operating and payroll costs. Follow purchasing procedures using Epsys and maintain accurate stock levels. Implement effective stock rotation and display products according to company policy. Suggest and support promotional initiatives to help exceed departmental sales targets. Lead by example, maintaining high personal presentation standards and adhering to uniform requirements. Maintain and continuously improve departmental operating standards. Attend training and ensure the team does the same. Comply with health & safety, fire, security, food safety, and company procedures. Ensure adherence to all hotel and company rules as outlined in the team member handbook. Support the Store Manager by ensuring Sirens Eye is implemented and followed at all times. Regularly complete BROT with team members to maintain consistency of drinks and service standards. What We’re Looking For Previous hospitality or barista experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire others. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
