12-month placement with RSM Consulting offering a front-row seat to how businesses work, change, grow and succeed. You’ll be part of the team, contributing and learning beyond theory, with exposure to clients and key intermediaries.
The start date is 15 September 2026. Applications timelines are provided by the firm, and internal and professional training accompanies joining the firm.

* Work on the deals that shape industries and futures, supporting clients through the full deal lifecycle (buying, selling, raising investment, planning next steps).

Who we’re looking for
This placement is ideal for students on a sandwich degree who want to explore consulting as a career. You don’t need a business background, just a curious mind, a collaborative spirit and the drive to get stuck in.
You’ll Need
* A predicted honours degree
* To be enrolled on a placement degree
* A minimum of 112 UCAS points from 3 A Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications
* OR 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level)
We don’t accept General Studies, AS levels or EPQs.
Additional information
* There’s no exam or qualification at the end; the experience is the value. For many students, this could be the first step into a graduate offer and a long-term consulting career.
* Join Team Consulting at RSM; performance may lead to a graduate opportunity.
* Application and assessment timetable: closing date 31 October 2025; VACs in November–December 2025; Final Stages in December 2025–January 2026.
* Eligibility: you must have existing right to live and work in the UK on start date (post-April 2024 policy).
