Contract: Part Time, Term Time Only

Salary: £92 - £115 per day

GSL Education are seeking dedicated Exam Invigilators to work within local schools in Selby and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, professional, and committed to maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring examinations run smoothly and in accordance with awarding body regulations. You will help create a calm and supportive environment, enabling students to perform to the best of their abilities.
Exam Invigilator Responsibilities:
* Prepare examination rooms in accordance with examination requirements
* Check attendance and verify candidate identities where required
* Distribute and collect examination papers and materials efficiently
* Ensure examination regulations and procedures are followed at all times
* Supervise students throughout examinations, maintaining a quiet and orderly environment
* Respond appropriately to queries while adhering to examination guidelines
* Record and report any incidents, irregularities, or breaches of regulations
* Support the safe and secure handling of examination materials before and after assessments
Exam Invigilator Requirements:
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to follow procedures and examination regulations accurately
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A professional, calm, and approachable manner
* Ability to remain vigilant and focused for extended periods
* Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator is desirable but not essential, as training may be provided
* An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
* An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
