Summary
As a Children's Social Worker in the Social/NGO/Health & Care industry, you will play a crucial role in the well-being and development of children in need. This position involves working closely with children and families to provide support, guidance, and resources to ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Your work will be vital in advocating for children's rights and helping them overcome challenges to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments of children and families to determine their needs and develop appropriate care plans.
* Provide direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations.
* Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to coordinate comprehensive care.
* Advocate for children's rights and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.
* Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss and review cases.
* Educate families on available resources and support systems within the community.
* Monitor and evaluate the progress of children and families, adjusting care plans as necessary.
