Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours of work: Various hours available – some evenings & weekend available
What we need in a nutshell
We want our guests to enjoy time at the pool and gym, and to be safe too. We need a qualified leisure assistant, preferably to level 2 or 3 in Gym related activities, with a passion for Gym related activities. You will have outstanding people skills and will support the team to ensure the pool and gym are maintained to a high standard and related activities continue to run smoothly.

Kenwick Park Estate incorporates luxury lodges, holiday homes and a unique country house hotel with leisure club, that combines a traditional feel with modern facilities. All set amongst our stunning woodland area.
What youll be doing
Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be the go-to person at the poolside and gym. You will look after everyones safety, keep the whole area clean and hygienic and make sure that were meeting our legal requirements. As a leisure assistant you will be responsible for the daily operational duties and performance of the gym and pool related activities.
You will be incredibly friendly, answering guests questions and making sure that everyone is having a great time..
One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on weekends and bank holidays too.
Skills, experience and qualities youll need.
Theres lots of training on offer but you will need:
* Previous experience and a passion for working in a gym or pool
* Gym related qualification to a level 2 or higher
* Fantastic interpersonal skills – youll need to be assertive as well as friendly.
* To be naturally vigilant and helpful - guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs as well as their safety.

If your application is successful, youll have to apply for an Enhanced DBS. We need to be happy that this, together other information we may request, is all in order before you can join the team.

* A valid NPNQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
* Exercise to music Experience
* Les Mills qualification
* Pool plant operators certificate
* ASA/STA level 1/2 swimming qualification
* Experience of working as part of a team.
* Experience in the hospitality sector
