Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Hotel Receptionist to join our Client's team at their hotel in Ambleside. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a passion for the hospitality industry.
This is a temporary placement, starting from 1st May for 3 months. 8 hours per day and can range from 2 to 5 days per week and day or nightshift depending on the candidates preference. Experience with Reslynx would be preferable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
* Check guests in and out of the hotel
* Manage room reservations and ensure accurate billing
* Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel's facilities and services
* Handle guest complaints and ensure that any issues are resolved promptly
* Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
* Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
* Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a hotel receptionist role preferred
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
