We're offering a competitive basic salary of £26,000 depending on experience, plus excellent company benefits.
As a Rental Assistant, you'll support the smooth daily operation of our Rent-A-Car department. You'll help drive growth and profitability by assisting with retail and local corporate customer rentals, while delivering outstanding customer service.
You'll work closely with the Rental Manager to:
* Promote the Rent-A-Car brand and Vertu Volkswagen locally
* Support local sales and marketing initiatives
* Assist with budget tracking and P&L responsibilities
* Process payments and ID checks accurately (including pre-authorisations, card details, and credit checks)
* Help manage staff rotas and contribute to recruitment and training efforts
What we're looking for:
* Experience in a car rental environment (desired)
* Strong customer service and admin skills
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude
If successful, we'll carry out employment checks including recent work history, credit checks, and a criminal record check.
